Amid the current Middle East conflict, domestic airlines are planning to operate additional unscheduled services from the Gulf region on Sunday, subject to permission from Indian and local officials.

The airlines will run more unscheduled flights on March 8 as a result of ongoing airspace limitations elsewhere in West Asia.

Air India will operate additional flights between Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, and Delhi and Mumbai. The airline stated in a statement that “Air India Express would also operate 30 additional flights between India and UAE cities including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah.

In order to return stranded passengers to India, more unscheduled flights are scheduled to run to and from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, Ras Al-Khaimah, and Sharjah on March 8.
