Amid the current Middle East conflict, domestic airlines are planning to operate additional unscheduled services from the Gulf region on Sunday, subject to permission from Indian and local officials.
The airlines will run more unscheduled flights on March 8 as a result of ongoing airspace limitations elsewhere in West Asia.
“Air India will operate additional flights between Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, and Delhi and Mumbai. The airline stated in a statement that “Air India Express would also operate 30 additional flights between India and UAE cities including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah. ”
In order to return stranded passengers to India, more unscheduled flights are scheduled to run to and from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, Ras Al-Khaimah, and Sharjah on March 8.

Air India’s operations to North America and Europe are running normally through secure alternate routes.
“We understand that many customers are still waiting to reach the places and the people that matter most to them,” IndiGo stated as the situation in and around the Middle East continues to change.
We are delighted to resume our Europe operations on March 8, reconnecting customers with important locations throughout the continent,” the statement went on to say.
Additionally, IndiGo will still run flights to eight locations in the Middle East.
“Considering the dynamic character of the scenario, flight schedules may change at short notice,” it warned, and “we will continue to share updates on our website and social media channels as the situation develops.“
