Air India will operate direct flights between Delhi and Manila

Air India is the only airline providing direct connectivity between India and the Philippines, and it has declared that it will begin nonstop flights between Delhi and Manila on October 1, 2025. The Airbus A321neo with Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins will fly the new route five days a week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

This launch comes as the Philippines has decided to allow Indian tourists admission without a visa for a maximum of 14 days, a decision that is anticipated to greatly increase the number of Indian visitors. The new route is expected to improve economic cooperation between the two nations as well as leisure tourism.

With more than 7,000 islands and a wealth of cultural attractions, the Philippines is becoming a popular outbound travel destination for Indians.

“The launch of our Delhi-Manila route is yet another step in our mission to connect India with more of the world, non-stop,” stated Campbell Wilson, CEO & Managing Director of Air India. The new entry requirements for Indian visitors are a benefit to Philippine tourism, as outbound travel from India is expanding at a never-before-seen rate. We are pleased to help create new avenues for economic cooperation and cross-cultural interaction.

Bilateral commerce between the Philippines and India has also increased significantly, nearly tripling over the last ten years to reach USD 3.53 billion in 2023–2024.

In addition to providing easy one-stop access to Manila from Europe via Delhi, Air India hopes that these direct flights will contribute to this increasing trend in economic participation.

Reservations are now being accepted across all Air India channels, including its website, mobile app, and travel agencies.
