“A new chapter in India’s aviation narrative begins with the opening of the Noida International Airport. According to Aloke Singh, Chief Strategy Officer at IndiGo, “Delhi-NCR is now part of a select club of global megacities that are served by numerous airports. ”
Along the Yamuna Expressway, Noida International Airport is strategically located and ready to serve as a vital logistics and aviation hub that complements the region’s current capacity.
The beginning of a new chapter for Noida International Airport is marked by the welcoming of IndiGo’s inaugural flights.
“IndiGo will link NIA to important locations across India as our launch carrier, giving travelers more options and ease from day one,” said Christoph Schnellmann, Vice Chairman, Noida International Airport.
He added, “We look forward to collaborating closely with IndiGo to provide a smooth travel experience and assist in the region’s continued expansion of aviation, commerce, and tourism. ”
The first phase of the airport is complete and can handle roughly 12 million passengers each year, according to authorities. The facility’s operating infrastructure consists of an air traffic control tower, a runway, and an integrated terminal building.
